Congratulations Billy Demong '98: Gold and Silver Medals in Nordic Combined!  National Sports Academy is proud to have four alumni/ae competing in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver from February 12th - 28th. Eighteen NSA alumni/ae are Olympians, many multiple times. For alumnus Billy Demong, the Vancouver Games will mark his 4th Olympics. Haley Johnson '00, Chris Mazdzer '06 and Nick Alexander '07 are each competing in their first Olympic games. A 1992 Olympian, Farra and his wife Tess both served six years in leadership roles at NSA.  Duncan Kennedy '85 is the junior coach for USA Luge and Luge commentator on NBC. He is a three-time Olympian and the most decorated singles slider in U.S. history. |
