Full Winter Program
The Full Winter Program is a 8 week program (January 19th through March 13th) that features the many facets of the winter sport season. Example schedule:
Week 1: Cross Country Skiing
Week 2: Ice Climbing
Week 3: Snow Shoeing
Week 4: Alpine Skiing/Snowboarding
Week 5: Back Country Skiing (map and compass exploration)
Week 6: Avalanche Awareness (safety and rescue)
Week 7: Winter Mountaineering
Week 8: Adventure week- putting it all together
Winter Flex Program
The Winter Flex Program is customizable and can be a combination of any of the above sports/outdoor learning adventures offered in 2 week blocks.
The academic schedule is based on each individual student and the arrangements he/she makes with his/her own school. NSA can provide tutors for students that bring their own work from home or students can transfer into our own courses for the duration of their stay.
